Karen Czarnota – Managing Director
The offices are based near Stamford, South Lincolnshire. We offer a flexible approach for any size of business either working on or off site or using a mixture of both. We can tailor the work for your business giving a personal service and continuing advice once the work has finished.
Karen has over 30 years experience with blue chip companies such as Weetabix, Tulip International, Nestle and Danisco. Experience was initially in production management, product development through to quality management. This multi-disciplined experience has proved useful in appreciating different business functions. The consultancy business was set up in 2002 mainly focusing on the development, auditing and implementation of quality systems along with associated training. This evolved into consulting on the BRC Standard for Food Safety and in 2010 the business became Food Quality Consulting Ltd.
Karen attended Leeds University gaining a BSc Hons degree in Food Science and Microbiology, going on later to gain a Masters degree in Food Law from De Montefort University. She is BRC lead auditor trained, and is an approved BRC training provider. She has refreshed HACCP training doing the advanced HACCP at Campden BRI and Level 4 Food Hygiene at Lincoln University. She is an experienced food safety and HACCP trainer and has been a registered consultant for Highfield for over 20 years. She is also a trained Certified Online Learning Facilitator (COLF).
